My health journey has taken me through every stage of advanced kidney and heart care — from experiencing multiple dialysis modalities, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home dialysis, to ultimately receiving both a kidney and a heart transplant. Each treatment taught me something different about endurance, adaptability, and the importance of being an informed participant in my own care.

Transplantation changed everything. With my new organs came a renewed sense of freedom and possibility. I regained a full quality of life — the ability to travel again, to plan my days around living rather than treatment, and to embrace experiences that once felt out of reach.

Today, I share my story to show that even the most complex medical path can lead to restoration. My life after transplant is defined by movement, connection, and joy, and I’m committed to helping others find hope and clarity as they navigate their own journeys.
